Stopped in at my local Discount tire store to have new set of tires and wheels mounted and balanced, and also to install new tpms sensors and install to truck.
What should have been maybe an hour at the most, ended up being way longer and no new shoes mounted. They couldn’t find the right code, since the truck is fairly new to the market.
I ended up leaving without having them install the new set, kind of disappointed but I couldn’t wait any longer since I was on my to work. Before leaving they said they would have to try and find the code via the corporate office, early the next day.
Fast forward 2 hours later, got a call from discount tires, they were able to figure out the sensor code: “they used the 2019 ford 150 code to program the sensors.
So hopefully I’ll be able to mount tomorrow, did anyone else have this situation?
Btw I didn’t want to use my old sensors, since I wanted to keep my original tires intact.
