The owners of the Line-X franchise I used are clients of ours so I ended up paying $150 out the door to do both sides of the skid plate and the valence with Line-X Premium. Chatting with him, he said that he would normally quote it at $250-$300. We're out here in Los Angeles/Orange County so I've noticed Line-X quotes are generally higher than other areas of the country, but I think you're out in SF so I would assume it would be similar...Nice how much did that cost you? I’m thinking of doing the bedliner on the skid plate myself to save money.
Believe it or not, but the front bumper valence is two different pieces held together by 8 plastic plugs and 4 bolts! Just removing the bumper valence is a battle in of itself, but there is more work involved.
Trying to get my hands on a guide/how-to to remove front bumper. Can anybody help? Thanks!!Do you know the part number of the valence that is just above the skid plate? I am thinking about buying one and painting it magnetic to match the bumper.

Thanks so much!! New owner and member, very glad I found this forum!
Picked up my valance and skid from the local Line-X and I have to say it turned out better than I had hoped. I spray painted the parking sensor and rubber gasket gloss black and haven't had a single issue with them and they work just as they did before.
Looks great! You have those vehicles parked TIGHT in that garage!!!
That skid plate looks very silvery/gun metal. Is the picture misrepresenting the color? My thinking of Line-X is more like black. It's Line-X Premium. In person it's pretty black. It has a good amount of gloss /sheen to it, so it looks gray in pictures where the sunlight is hitting it directly like in the picture I posted. Here's some others but it still looks blacker in person. That skid plate looks very silvery/gun metal. Is the picture misrepresenting the color? My thinking of Line-X is more like black. Looking at the removal instructions, it says "Remove and discard the clips". That, to me means they should not be reused for some reason. I have not seen any references to where to buy replacement clips. Any takers to comment on this?Do you know the part number of the valence that is just above the skid plate? Looking at the diagram, all four sensors are the same part number, so they are the same color. So I would think that either they are painted or the plastic thingies that hold them, which have four sub-part numbers, may have a thin color film in front. If they have been painted, a Sharpie should not affect performance.
I am pretty sure that second picture came out of one of the Ranger commercials. It's Line-X Premium. In person it's pretty black. Can you explain how you got the clips off from the top side of the valence? No matter what I did, I couldn't get them loose or get very good access to them.I removed my valence and painted it semigloss black. I also put a light coat of gloss black on the sensors.
They are working just like they did before. I haven't given up on the idea of wrapping the valence in carbon fiber vinyl, but my first attempt failed, Thus the paint. By the way the part number of the valence is KB3Z 17626 DAPTM.
The upper fasteners are "push pins" just pry straight down on the inner pin. Then just pull straight out. There are bolts on the bottom. The hardest part is the clips that hold the part in place you pull straight out on the part with a fair amount of force, and they pop out. Start at one end and work to the other. Can you explain how you got the clips off from the top side of the valence? No matter what I did, I couldn't get them loose or get very good access to them.
