I know others have mentioned it on the forum but this really needs to be a sticky. If you opt to reuse the original tie rod end and ball joint nuts when you install a leveling kit...***DON'T***. Buy new ones!
I installed a leveling kit recently and after about 250 miles I decided to look things over. The bolt on my upper ball joint had backed off to the point that it was almost all the way off. Another 100 miles or less and it would have been off!
Needless to say I got new nuts and put them on immediately. I'll also be checking things on a regular basis for a while to make sure I'm good to go now. Close call...
