Does anyone know if the black panels between the front and rear windows are an actual piece or just a decal/sticker ? On my 2010 Ram, they were stickers and could be removed exposing the painted surface underneath....and it looked much better IMO.

Ford's appliqués are usually molded plastic unlike the blackout tape ram used to use
I wonder if they can be removed without damaging the paint and how it would look ? I don't want a big step-down from the trim to the paint.

Probably has some holes under there for alignment. And the belt molding may stick out too far from the body as well

Don’t know for sure, but most accent treatments on the door/window frame area are just vinyl decals and easily removed.

It is some sort of vinyl wrap. Mine had a small cut on the drivers door and the dealer replaced the piece. It was red underneath so I presume it's all HPRed (in my case) under the vinyl. I wondered about durability when I saw the small cut/tear but I like the black color accent so gave no thought to removing them.

they look like stickers. who is going to be the first to try?
Somebody did this on one of the Facebook groups. Blue supercab. I guess it is painted underneath the decal, and no holes or anything.
