Here is my heaviest setup. 325 miles on the odometer, and all loaded up and ready for it's first tow trip.

Just Kidding. I will wait till I have 1,000 miles on the Ranger before I start towing heavy. I was getting the hitch set up after installing the new brake controller.

Now I’m impressed... I towed my Airstream (6000lbs/710lbs tongue) from Tucson to Flagstaff which has some pretty steep grades with no problem, 65-70 mph up hill all day! Also to add weight I have 600lbs in the bed with my Alu-cab pop-top camper & gear. The only down side may have been the 13mpg.

I'm really impressed with the ride height. No WDH?? My little Casita probably won't put much if any sag in the rear. BTW, great looking rigs!

Right at 7,000 lbs.

That's going to be a very rare haul.

More common hauls will be one of my Mustangs to a rally, show, the track. Those loads are more in the 5,800-6,000 range.

That’s awesome! I think that’s the heaviest load I’ve seen hooked up so far. Your going to break some people’s necks when towing that.

:muscle::sunglasses: Holy :curse: !!! Did you see that ranger?!?!

:LOL::LOL:

Nice!! :clap::thumbsup:

I’m looking at a apex nano 208bhs for my ranger and it seems like these trucks don’t sag or squat very much

They'll squat with a good enough load. Just my 2200 lb. flatbed alone brought the back end down 2". I'm sure without the weight distribution hitch, my 7,000 lb trailer/tractor combo would have dropped it another few inches, and had the nose up 2-3".

But I'm also a firm believer in weight distribution/sway control hitches. I even ran that on my Super Duty tag setups. You don't know you need it until you hit a rogue sidewind or the trailer tires drop off the side of the asphalt.

My camper is a 207BH I believe, it weighs 4000 or so loaded, and towed without trouble at all. It squatted a little with no WD bars in, and barely at all with them on. I'm not going to tow it with them on unless I have some extra weight in the bed, or trailer to add some tongue weight.

That or I will reset the head height to accommodate a little more tongue weight.

That all-silver setup looks good!

2018 Rockwood Roo 19. I would guess around 4500-4650lbs loaded to camp. Towed better than I expected even at 65 mph with 30-35 gals of fresh water.

What hitch are you using? How much did you drop it? 2-3" for level towing?
