Who’s getting a personalized license plate?

I’m thinking of getting a 1960s Legacy plate with a personalized set of characters and numbers.

Thinking of transferring my Amateur Radio radio plates from the mobile home to the Ranger. Will probably get some permanent Veteran plates on the big beast.

I’m debating on using my FULSCALE plates. Doesn’t have anything to do with the truck, I bought them when I bought my first Mustang. I’ve been collecting diecast Mustangs for years and it was my first ‘full scale’ one.

FYI in California all pickup trucks are registered as commercial vehicles, so make sure to select that option when ordering.

I don't think this makes much of a difference. I chose "Auto" and not "Commercial" when I ordered my Ranger personalized plates and the order went through. The plates are not attached to any car until you pick them up at the DMV. Now, perhaps choosing "commercial" will speed up the order? - California

Speaking of personalized plates, is there anyway we can get a running wait time on all of our personal plates? Something similar to what we have on this forum for actual Ranger orders? I know wait times for personal plates vary GREATLY depending on what state you live in. When I ordered personal plates for my F-150 about 6 or 7 months ago it took a loooooong time for them to show up (over 3 months). It would be kind of neat if we can see how long people are waiting for there personalized plates. If not that's OK, we can keep checking back here. I ordered my plates on 02/15/19 (California).

I had "BATRUK" (Bat - Truck) on my Black Raptor, but didn't renew it after the 5 years, because I no longer had the Raptor
(Bad choice on my part)....
Thought about seeing it it was still available, but decided the $$$ could be put to better use

I thought about putting on personalized plates since I had some on my Trac, but you can't get dp (disabled person) personalized plates. So, I just went with putting on the dp plates so I wouldn't have to deal with remembering to hang my blue hang tag on the mirror whenever I park. Since in Taxifornia all pickups are considered as 'commercial' vehicles, and I already paid the 'weight' fee with the initial purchase, I need to remember to request a weight fee waiver when I renew my tags in a year.

I've got Air Force plates on my '16 Outback (transferred from my '05 Legacy) and they'll go on the Ranger when she finally gets here.

KTP is for Kentucky Truck Plant where Ford assembles Super Duty, Expedition and Navigator. So it had a little more meaning on my Super Duty, but I transferred it over to the Ranger. I retired from there after 28 years so it still has meaning to me. Maybe MAP for Michigan Assembly Plant would be more appropriate for a Ranger
