What is the purpose of the air dams? Tow hooks look great
Thanks! I assume they help direct air down and away from the chassis for mpg/aerodynamics? Truthfully they were just in the way and I think it looks much cleaner without them.

Finally got around to installing my @Fordrangerlifts.com 2" leveling kit and Faction Fab 1.5" wheel spacers. I also completely removed the crash bars. While I was under there I also installed the rubber rocker plugs that @Stringburner recommended.

Wheel spacers were super easy to install. Crash bars were a pain to get out, but overall not too bad with a cutting wheel and pry bar. The leveling kit would've been straightforward if the passenger side inner CV joint didn't separate. We ended up having to completely remove the axle to take the boot off and reseat the CV. It was impossible to do on the truck because when the CV separated, it created a vacuum inside the boot. When we removed it you could actually hear the hiss of air. After that saga was over, the rest of the install went well. Took the driver side axle nut off and had no issues with that side. Now I just need to get an alignment and should be good to go.

I'm exhausted... ?‍? Pics are below.

Hopefully I have better luck at Mavis for the alignment. Good year would not touch it. A performance shop near me quoted $140 which I think is a bit excessive…

Spoke to a manager at Mavis who is very knowledgeable, he's going to take care of it on Saturday for me. It shouldn't be too bad. So far I only noticed the steering wheel is a hair off and it is a touch stiffer turning the wheel right as opposed to left. No pulling or vibrations.

I paid $140 for an alignment and advanced safety technology reset. Still need to adjust my headlights, I figured they would do that in the cost but when I picked it up they said they did not.

Post your alignment sheet when you are done.

Got my ignition bezel today from @adamk77 to replace the crappy one I got from ebay a while back. Awesome quality and the color is spot on with my VB.

Well truck was on the back burner for a bit... but after the recent purchase of my wife's Explorer, I was able to cash in my FordPass points for some small cosmetic upgrades I've had my eye on for a while.

Aeroskin II hood deflector and Bushwacker rocker guards. Super easy install and very happy with the look. Front and rear OEM smoked emblems will be here later this week to replace the vinyl I have.

I put those rock panel guards on mine.
I drilled numerous small holes in the bottom of mine. They just look like they would hold water.
What are these rocker panel plugs you mentioned?

Look back at reply #42 from @Stringburner he linked the plugs I used.
