Where is your 2019 Ford Ranger engine made from - what country?

I was at a Ford dealership, in central Ohio, and there were many Lariets and XLTs
in the dealership parking lot. On one XLT, it showed a separate "Parts Content Information"
Sticker" which can only be removed by the customer. The engine was made in Mexico.
I thought all of the Ranger engines were made in the USA.
Where is your engine made from - what country?

Assembled in Mexico is more accurate. The various components are likely built in numerous countries including the USA.

Well, there is great confusion in what country is the new 2019 Ranger 2.3L Ecoboost engine is made at - two places are:
1. Cleveland, Ohio - USA
2. Mexico

I found another place /country which was given to me by a chat specialist on the Ford website -

During, our chat session I was unable to locate the requested information and informed you that I would reach out to our specialist regarding this matter. After consulting our specialist, I was informed that the 2.3L eninge being placed in the 2019 Ford Ranger is being produced in Valencia Spain. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact the Customer Relationship Center via chat Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST.

Only your vehicle sticker will tell hopefully - parts content information sticker.

My parts content sticker says mexico, but the front of the engine has a sticker on it that says "cleveland engine plant" -- so I guess maybe final assembly is in cleveland but mexico has the largest overall contribution?

Mine too, however there is a "Cleveland engine plant" sticker right on the engine - so it seems contradictory....

Maybe the engine block or other parts were made at the Cleveland plant but the engine final assembly was in Mexico?

I am calling mine the "138 Cleveland" or "2.3 Cleveland". Just because I have a 351 Cleveland.
