Is $44,234 a good price for this car?

Or would trying to go through costco be better? Also when you do the costco program do you need to get quotes from multiple places or does it just give you the best price?
The link doesn't seem to work. You can go to Edmunds or Kelley Blue Book and build the same vehicle and it will show the invoice to help judge if you are getting a good deal.

Weird, the link works for me. Here's a picture of it.

I got an Austin-area dealer down to $42,800 on a fully loaded Lariat FX4.

I was as able to get a quote from the costco program back in December. The cost was slightly higher than x plan which is what I ended up using. I dont believe you can choose your dealer with the Costco program though.

Your dealer is full of it, Costco definitely discounts the new Ranger and you can use that price as a bargaining chip when negotiating.

-Get the Costco price for the exact build you want, even if its not from the dealer you want.
-Use that price as a starting point when negotiating. If they try and BS you just remind them you already have that price and if they want your business they need to give you a reason to purchase through them.

Thanks...it could be a regional-thing too...but I told HIM we will go with whichever gives me the better discount:
1. Costco
2. Sam’s Club
3. AARP
4. AAA
5. XPlan
6. Sit and argue/“negotiate” for 4 hours
...I went with the X Plan:whew:

I got mine for $42800 by just negotiating hard with multiple Texas dealers. Seems like this range is about as much juice as you can squeeze from the lemon on a fully loaded Lariat FX4.

I got the same truck minus running boards and chrome but they added full window tint and line x bedliner, I paid 42000 even, now I did get 13500 for my trade in that they have listed for 14999 if that makes up for any loses they took. I used Costco pricing, even though ive never been a member, military discount and some cash back from ford, 750 I think. I bought it about 2 weeks ago.

what "plan" did you use to get this price? just negotiated off the Costco price?
I just negotiated them. No plan. However the truck did have 500 miles on it from being used as a tester... Also I'm pretty sure they ripped me off on my trade in. KBB listed my trade in as 21k-24k. They initially offered me 18k and I talked them up to 21k.
