Been checking the ProClip site since I got my Ranger but nothing yet. I also reached out and they said they’re working in it. The version for the overseas Ranger is not compatible. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I use a Magnetic mount and secured it to the lower left corner of the Center screen bezel. Good access and little loss of visibility of the center screen or airflow from the vent. ( that’s important here in Florida)

WeatherTech has a cup holder phone mount. It's not for me though.
I agree. I also need it on my right. On the left doesn't work for me.

Do you have a picture of how it looks where you place it? Thanks!

Which mount is this? How does it attach to the bezel?

I am looking for something that doesn't block airflow as well (Louisiana!)

Thanks!

I saw an ad from Weather Tech that they now have a cup holder based phone holder. Looked great in the commercial. No idea of practicality or if in design or production phase.

I take the Spigen magnetic mount and remove the air vent clip, get 3m double stick foam tape and stick it wherever you want.

My Ranger has been built and is in shipping if I read the Track My Ford site correctly Supposed to be her 4/12/19 which I can't believe is accurate as I could walk from Michigan to St. Paul quicker than that. Anyway.....

My plan was to have a wireless charger for My iPhone and utilize car play quite a bit Since learning that the appleplay is not wireless on the Ranger, I have to rethink my plan. There is no need for wireless charging if the phone has to be plugged in to play through the Ranger sound system. I currently have a magnetic car mount which is nice but I believe the piece of steel on th back of the phone interfere with the reception of the phone. I'd like to get rid of it.

So, what are some of the best car mounts you guys are using? best way to hide the charge wire etc... I bet there are some clever ideas among the membership and I would sure like to hear about it.

Thanks -

Mark

I was curious as to whether anyone has tried the WeatherTech phone holder. Wasn't clear to me if you could see the screen with the placement of the cupholders...

I tried the CupFone. I am returning it. It doesn't fit snugly in the console cupholder. I wobbles around a lot.

I'm going to try the mount from ProClipUSA that attaches to the side of the console. I'll try to remember to let you know how that works out.
