Glad to see your not hauling him in the back down here I've seen kids in the back sure wouldn't haul my best friend in it.
When i was a kid, riding in the back of a pick up was outlawed. I remember doing it though before it happened. Some farm dogs here are taught to ride in the bed. Gunner will not, his nose would get him in serious trouble.

I've posted this elsewhere because I'm incapable of properly using the search feature, but here's my first "proper" haul.

I broke two of them going over RR tracks with a little too much speed... I stopped and re-adjusted them to where they should have been the first time and the rest survived the 10 mile trip just fine.

Thank you! He is 2 yrs old.
I love the drool you caught in the photo! My dog isn't nearly as big - he will be the back seat passenger. Right now, his kingdom is the extended cab portion of my truck. Will have to see how we do things with the new truck once I get it.

Here is my 60 pound friend (he loves the snow- this was after him running around in the 2' deep snow):

Good looking friend you have. Mine can sling slobber up to our catwalk above the living room, 9 ft above. Hound means living with slobber and their musk smell, damn good dog though.

Well I didn't think to snap a pic until after we unloaded but I hauled a 5 ton air handler, some sheet metal and tools today. And if anyone was wondering, yes a 6' ladder fits in the short bed with tailgate closed comfortably

Mod edit: Shamelessly stolen by @rangerdanger. Now that's a real haul!

I found out this past weekend you can fit 9 35x12.50 tires in the bed of the ranger.

Picked mine up a week ago Friday. Finally got to go fishing on Saturday. Even though I lost 6 inches of bed length over the F-150, it still worked great! Got it dirty going down miles of muddy dirt roads to get to one of our Gulf launch points. No issues at all! Loved the gas mileage as opposed to the 2004 F-150 I got out of. :) Have a dual jet ski trailer that I haul both kayaks on when I need to carry both.

First truck duty today helping a buddy move. After that I treated her to a ride in the park, quenched her thirst and then gave her a bath.
