Building my best friend’s 1998 Mazda B4000!

Quick story then on to info and pics. My best friend lives in Texas. He has a 1998 Mazda B2500 (slammed) and has been looking for a 1998 B4000 4x4 for some time. (4.0 OHV). These trucks are pretty rare and can be pricey. I found him this 1998 Mazda B4000 4x4 for $2,000. Rust free, straight body, runs and drives great but needed a lot of attention as it had sat for years. He has never seen it in person and only has stock photos I sent him of it the night I picked it up.

We agreed on a budget and since I work at a large shop we are rehabbing it and modifying it in house, then it goes home with me for a few more weeks for paint, body and detail work. He is trusting me to build this the way he likes, but with no directions from him. The plan is to unveil the truck to him 2 weeks from now. So this will be fun!
