That was a really good comparison video. It takes a lot for me to sit through a 30 minute video, that was well done. I'd like to see him do that with the competition (Tacoma / Colorado).

he's very thorough but not very accurate on a lot of things. and talks a little too much about hi likes and dislikes on "design" and doesn't mention things i figured he would.
but good videos overall.

The 4X4 Ranger is only 1/2" higher in ground clearance than the 4X2.

2019 ranger super-cab xlt 4x4 sport compared to 1998 f-150 super-cab xlt 4x2
With them side by side ranger is a few inches shorter in length and narrower than the 1998. Noticed that the ranger has higher ride height but the roof is about 2 inches lower that the 1998. This is the first super-cab that i have seen and have not had a chance to take one for a test drive yet.
Ranger is parked on an incline and the f-150 is in a flatter area so might look a little weird.

Excellent comparison. Do you recall the MSRP on that Ranger? That looks like the one I built on the Ford site. Should be a little over 38. Unless that's a 301A
Your F-150 Is identical to my 2000 Tundra. Except a deeper bed.

It was 37K has 301A (only way to get sport package) plus tow package and remote start,

I got a chance to sit in the new Ranger and it felt just about the same as my 17 Escape. A bit cramped, but not too cramped. You can compare specs on Edmunds.

When I sat in the front seat of the Ranger the front area as far as seat size, leg room, space and width felt very similar to the ‘02-10 Explorers. Since they are almost the same width that makes sense. I would think the 2nd gen Explorer Sport Tracs and the new Ranger have to be pretty close in overall size and cab size.

Here's another visual comparison next to a late 90's/early 00's F-150. This was the farthest I could stand back without standing in a puddle of mud, but definitely closer in size than the current F-150!

A 2019 Ranger is the same size as an F-150 from the nineties.

Great comparison. Too bad Ford isn't selling the F150 in Europe, seems to be just the right size.
The current full size trucks are just too damn big. Had a 2014 F150. Just too big. I am 6 foot tall and had to stretch to reach bed floor. That is too large.

Felt and drove much larger than my 90's F150.

Of course my 06 Ranger was too small.

I'm thinking my new Ranger will be the perfect size. Much closer to the old F150's.

If it ever gets here that is.
