The thing that I miss the most is the V8 rumble. I feel the 4.7L V8 that Dodge used in the Ram and Dakota had the best sound. My last Dakota had that engine and with the Flowmaster Super 44 with 3.5" pipes, ram air, superchip and camshaft/header upgrade the thing would purr like a cursed hell demon.

Why not just re-program the engine sounds coming through the sound system...maybe a late 60's hemi sound. :)
Hmmmm.....some company found the sounds on a video posted on here....wonder if they could do it ??? But we'd also need some speakers outside the cab too

If I could get my ranger to sound like your rs I'd be more than happy. Even in stock RS tone
If you do a muffler delete..will it void the warranty?
Regards

The most I may do is either eliminate the muffler or the resonator. One or the other.

A resonator delete may be just enough to get a little natural sound from it without being too much

Only if ford can prove the muffler delete caused the issue in question to fail.

And even then only voids the warranty coverage specifically for the muffler. If your muffler delete causes an exhaust system failure the exhaust system won't be covered under warranty but your transmission would still be covered, for example.

I'll definitely be turning off the fake engine/exhaust noises with Forscan like I did on my 2017 Fusion Sport. Real exhaust sounds much better. Not the stock exhaust though. Too quiet on the Fusion. Resonator delete might be as much as I go. It's only a 4 banger. I don't enjoy sounding like a lawnmower.

AWE & Thermal R&D make the best sounding exhausts for the ecoboost in my opinion. Not too loud and very deep not raspy sounding with no drone.

I am working with Thermal R&D to get a system out as soon as we can!

Well, looks like MagnaFlow has this video up. Been up for a month, so maybe old news. But, looks like it may be the Icon Vehicle Dynamics Ranger wearing this set of MF pipes. For a 4-banger, that's not bad! All in personal taste, though.

I have the Ford Performance exhaust on order with my Lariat (ETA 6/6), so I'm really curious to see what the Borla sounds like w/ the dual outs.
