I thought I should start a thread about what kinda mileage eveyoeve is getting.

Include the type of driving you do city/highway %, driving style, gas used, if your using the auto start/stop feature and aprox engine mileage.


So I'm on my third tank of gas and tgt mileage has been improving.

• 5% getting on it

Daily commute (6 days/week): ~82 miles, mostly flat, mostly highway driving, ~75-80 mph, Auto start/stop enabled
My day off consists of a few miles of surface streets (never exceeding 50 mph, but I'm always off the line quickly)

The figures are NOT the avg mileage reported by the computer, which tend to . These are calculated at the pump at the time of fill-up.

First tank (87 octane): 19.2
Second tank (93 octane): 19.6
Third tank (93 octane): 19.9 (getting better at easing up on the acceleration. Also, a bit of usage of the adaptive cruise control)
Fourth tank (93 octane): 20.8 (Tonneau installed)

I got 24.8mpg on a 3 hour trip coming back from taking delivery of the truck. And that was while gaining 3,500ft of elevation and couple 95mph runs while passing traffic on the 2-lane Highway. I did get home and realize the tire pressures were around 40psi. So I haven’t done much highway driving since but I expect that number to drop .5mpg.

Did a 3 hour trip average speed around 70-75, got up to 22.7 MPG. Used the cruise control 90% of the time. This is the best I have gotten on the truck so far and have had it since February 11th and on the 2nd fill up on my own.this picture was taken on a backroad at 45mph speed limit.

My first tracked tank with 393.7mi on the odometer using gasbuddy:

Almost 10% better than what the trip computer says. Interesting.

I’m the lowest average MPG on Fuelly at 15.4 MPG. I do almost 75% city driving, lots of stop/starts and idling.
