Few more for you guys. Hope you like them. This rock is nonesuch shale and 1.1 billion years old and found on the surface around here. Some sheets are larger than a bed and just a few inches thick. Tough stuff. Copper is found in it.

Got out into the woods last weekend for opening day of rifle season in Kentucky. I was able to bring home this stunning 9 point with my 6.5 Grendel AR at 75ish yds.
