Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

Yeah, I posted mine was live a few days ago, and now it even show's up that I can set up Vehicle HotSpot...

Can you use the tracking feature to see where the Ranger is, or do you have to acknowledge a passcode on the vehicle's SYNC screen for the feature to be operable?

Yeah you have to activate something on the screen. Not to mention Ford puts all Rangers into “Transit mode” that restricts most functions while in transit.

I was told on the chat build that they can give you an update with the Dealer ID# and an order #. I still don't have an order # or a VIN so I'm up a creek without a paddle.

FYI - I was provided a Vin at about the 8th week of waiting. I contacted my dealership and asked for an order status update. I was given a build date and they also had my Vin. About week 10, the window sticker was generated. Things might move more quickly now that Ford has added overtime shifts to the production line.

When your dealer ordered your truck he had an order number at that time. He can use that number along with his dealer code to check on the status of your order. He can actually see more detail than the tracker that ROVP customers can see. I have no idea how long it should take to get a vin. I am still waiting on mine. I ordered Jan. 15th.

He should be willing to give you a copy of yours. It has the numbers that a Ford dealer can use to check the status of your order.

Picked mine up today. Dealer said they can't keep them in stock. In fact they had one on the showroom floor that was sold, but they can't remove it from the showroom till they have another to replace it.

I feel sorry for that guy...

Well at this point in time, I think Ford changed my order from a Ranger to a Delorean. My delivery date per my smart phone is 1/1/1990. My computer says N/A so who knows. I think the truck might be built because Ford Pass says I can activate my truck. I guess it's "Back to the Future"

Same here - mine finally has an estimated delivery date which is later than I expected - build was 3/11 but delivery is 4/14. Hopefully it will be sooner than they expect.
