We all know that privacy is important on the internet, but securing your account has other important benefits, namely reducing spam on the forum.
To turn on 2-Step Verification, go to the upper-right part of the forum and click on your account. From there you will see a drop down menu with '2-Step Verification' as an option to select.
Once you select that option, it will prompt you to re-enter your password.
From there you can select the 2 ways to receive your verification code, by app and by email. I have selected email verification since I already have 2-factor authentication on my email address as well.
If you ever lose access to the forum because of 2-Step Verification, please contact the @Administrator or myself (@rangerdanger). You can also use the link at the bottom of the site to email the @Administrator directly: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/misc/contact
