After going over our new truck with a clay bar to clean all the rail road crap off of the paint before applying the PPF and sealant, I did notice that the paint job on this new truck is quite a bit better than the one we totaled. Our totaled truck had a lot of dark gray specs between the base coat and clear coat. I clay bared it as well. These specs were pretty much distributed all over the truck. This new one is spec free and the paint is super smooth with no orange peal, the way it should be.Picked up our new 2019 4x2 today. It was manufactured Oct 1, 2019. Only disappointment was that the seats are missing the embroidered RANGER on the back, like the 2020’s. The good thing is that the navigation maps are the 18 version so I don’t have to mess with that again. It looks identical to our totaled truck.
