Any Hardshell Rooftop tent owners; let's see some pictures of clearing the factory antenna! I have an 82" long tent to mount over a shortbox (2019).

I either have 20" of overhang or am 6" above my roofline and at the same time maybe block my GPS signal.

Maybe this post should be called "show me your overhang pictures!"

Finally got some pics of the RTT, unfortunately just in the driveway but got it all opened up as I worked on where I wanted to install my fridge. It is a smittybilt tent and CVT awning mounted to a leer cap with thule rack. Cut some 3/8 plywood for a deck to screw to and places some attachment for the fridge. Next I will be running power into the bed following the guidance from the pinned thread at the top. Ordered the wire/pigtail and trying to decide if I want a socket in the read or if I will mount an anderson plug.

Luv your set up!!! Eventually I want to have mine set up very similar to yours.

What is your set up time to get the tent and awning up?
Tent is 5 minutes or less, awning is probably less. I can be under cover in probably less then 10 minutes but havnt timed. That would be a lazy pace I think

If money was no object I would do the alucab canopy camper with 270 deg awning. This does the job though since I already owned the tent and awning. There are faster setups out there but they are more expensive and often less space in the tent.

Another one to consider: Skylux Bantam. This company in Virginia is just starting out in this market, called Torro-Offroad.
