I am considering buying Apex Ultra Light 215BRK. The travel trailer weight is 4363 lb the length is 25' 4" . If I understand correctly the truck gross weight is 12,500 lbs. the truck+Cargo+people+trailer has to be under 12,500. Like here your input. thanks

I am towing a Sportsmen 271 BHLE, it is listed as 31'3" @ 5,290 dry, so maybe 5,800lbs loaded, propane, bikes etc ( I don't fill my water until I get there). I have a Redarc brake controller and I use the E2 weight distribution with friction sway control. Tows like a champ. I am honestly blown away by how easily the truck pulls it and how steady it is. Watch some videos about how to set up your weight distribution correctly. It requires measurements of truck and trailer alone, hooked up with and without distribution. Don't assume the travel trailer dealer is setting it up properly. When I bought my trailer I still had my F-150 and that thing swayed terrible above 50 mph until I made adjustments. The Ranger feels just as stable as my F-150 did with both set up correctly. The 2.3 doesn't pull as effortlessly as the 2.7, but it really impresses me non the less.I am considering buying Apex Ultra Light 215BRK. The travel trailer weight is 4363 lb the length is 25' 4" . If I understand correctly the truck gross weight is 12,500 lbs. the truck+Cargo+people+trailer has to be under 12,500. Like here your input. thanks
