Ford pass oil life reset

My19 XLS ford ranger

just picked up my ranger from Ford for it 30k service and to have the dash cluster replaced.

Can anyone tell me does the oil life reset by it's self like the klms and fule.
The all reset besides the oil life it hasent reset to 100%.
I can't tell if it hasent reset rite or ford skipped my oil change.
I looked at the sump doesent look like it's been changed.

More than likely the tech did not reset it on your instrument cluster. The app will reset automatically when the oil life is reset on the cluster. It may take a few hours for the app to reset after the cluster is reset.

I didn't have the oil life reset in my cluster setings I had to add it with forscan.
We don't get fordpass app in Australia.
I used a 3rd party app downloader to get fordpass it works ok but remote start won't work

I'd check the manual honestly. If its not an option in the gauges (like under vehicle settings), then you'll want to see what the manual says as it might be something screwy like hold gas and brake for 10 seconds while in accessory mode (my 2013 Focus ST required this)

From the US owner's manual:
OIL CHANGE INDICATOR
RESET
Use the information display controls on
the steering wheel to reset the oil change
indicator.
From the main menu scroll to:
Message Action and description
Press the right arrow button,
then from this menu scroll
to the following message.
Settings
Press the right arrow button,
then from this menu scroll
to the following message.
Vehicle
Press the right arrow button,
then from this menu scroll
to the following message.
Oil Life
Press and hold the OK
button until the instrument
cluster displays the
following message.
Hold OK to
Reset
Reset Successful
When the oil change indicator
resets the instrument
cluster displays 100%.
Remaining Life
{00}%
If the instrument cluster
displays one of the following
messages, repeat the
process.
Not Reset
Reset Cancelled
