$5.00/gal there, I hope that's at least premium?

I thought TX was a lot cheaper than most areas? We're at $3.89 for 87 and $4.49 for 91 at Costco. Our local stations are all over the place but most are still under $5.00 for 91. Something better change soon!

Yeah its premium. This truckbis a keeper for sure. And with all the towing, it recommends premium. So i keep premium in it all the time. Prices will go down eventually again. Just sooner than later i hope.

My first time towing the travel trailer last summer I had about a half tank of 91 mixed with 87. Towed well and averaged about 12.5 mpg. Just kept putting 91 in for several fill ups and the next outing averaged 14.5 mpg on the exact same route. Not sure if I noticed a performance difference from the butt-O-meter but gaining two mpg speaks for itself. I use 91 exclusively now since the towing. Empty I seem to be able to tell a difference.

Had to make a pit stop at Casey's General store for gas on the way home, 89 is holding steady at $4.19 a gallon for now.

Then I stopped at DQ for Tacos lol!

Ranger got me to the trailhead in Cherokee NF and I made the 3 mile hike up chasing some native South Appalachian Brook Trout. Also picked up a dozen nonnative wild rainbows trout. Amazing day! I’m exhausted. It was a high gradient stream. Both knees are in protest mode. Did 6.8 miles.

I’m patiently waiting for the Trilliums to start popping up in my backyard - they seem to like it in the shaded area below a few of our oak trees - it’s so cool having them growing in the backyard. It’s a ravine lot on the upper riparian zone of the Grand River. The previous owner carved out an area for a small lawn but the rest is various trees and native plants.

A large conservation area flanks the river on both sides so it’s a bit like living in a provincial or state park.

EDIT: Found a photo of one of the Trillium patches starting to bloom last Spring - pics or it didn’t happen, right?

Drove to Costco for cheap gas and a new grill. Dang these Webers have gotten expensive and heavy. Was 3.879 today minus the 7% 5% cashback. Summer gas finally.
