After reading wayyy too many tire size and wheel threads, I installed a new set of wheels and tires today.

Method MR 703 - 17 x 8.5 +35 offset

BFG KO2 265/70/17 LT load range C

I have stock FX4 suspension, and I had the slightest rub on the drivers side at full lock in reverse. I loosened and nudged the crash bars forward, and no more rub.

Now time to save for more mods ?

Looking good, what's the noise level on the tires?

Thanks! Actually they’re pretty quiet for an AT. The Falkens I had on previously were louder and had a shorter sidewall (265/60/18).

Wheels are on and I must say they look damn good. Surprisingly the tire only just kisses the crash bars at full lock.

I highly suggest getting the aftermarket crash bars. You'll most likely find that as the truck's weight shifts as its moving while you're turning you'll get a lot of interference. And I found pulling in and out of driveways while turning was really bad.

After a few days of driving I have had no issues. I know I can loosen them and move them forward, the passenger side is already moved forward because it has more clearance.

As a test, maybe try pulling over a curb as you're turning.

Thank you, its a softer plastic. Not hard so as to snap and break, more than get hung up on something and rip or torn off completely.

Finally got around to installing my FitzStick transmission dipstick today. High quality and easy to install ?

After that, I did my first transmission drain and fill - replaced 6qts - piece of cake.
