Hi gents so I installed the 3 lite bar on my grill. My problem ever since I had it was it only comes on when the lights do. I want them on all the time. How would I achieve this?

What lights do you have them in to now? If you what them on anytime the truck is on you need to fuse tap them into a fuse that has power with the ignition on. There are a couple of them in the battery fuse box under the hood.

That's how mine hooked in , I believe you have to enable the DRL's to get them on in daylight, it's a setting in there somewhere, I don't think you need Forscan , but might...

You have the option to set the DRL's to include parking lights, note that this will include all parking lights (Front- Side - Rear) - Forscan Required
As either the DRL's or Headlights are always - ON, if set that way - IPC selection and Headlamp Switch.

To get only the Grille Lights a fuse tap is needed to a switched source in the BJB

I installed grill lights I bought from stage 3 motorsports. They wired into the marker light on driver side wheel well. They are always on when the truck is on. I didnt have to change anything in the head unit or forscan.

Then something is not correct, as the parking lights should not be powered unless the Headlights are on or in (parking light) position on the switch - for factory (US Version)
Even when you use Forscan to (include) parking lights as DRL's they will only power when out of park.

To be clear - he wants the lights (Always) on including daytime. (IF) you are referring to nighttime.
Plus note: During a Remote Start - The parking lights will be (on)

It is not hard to do. Airlinetech pointed me to clever fuse taps, they were fuses with a wire coming out the top. I got 10 amp ones and used the power steering fuse for the fuse. Pot it in so the wire IA at the hot end ( not the after fuse end).

See my thread - Fuse Tap

Can u show me...so I have to splice my light bar....? So theoretically, I will unplug it from the parking lights. Bring it back into the hood. Tap into the fuse box under the hood, correct?

I have mine wired to park light...but if you want them on "all the time" then I'd just wired it directly to the battery...

Instead of splicing the harness - get a mating female connector pigtail and then run it to the fuse box and tap for power on either Fuse 19 or 24 (#24 is a coin toss) if you actually have contacts in the slot - sometime in the 2020 production they eliminated that fuse and the contacts in the fuse box for it so it is now just a blank slot.

Is it safe to put in the fuse box in the engine compartment or did you do it in the cab?
