Well, I finally got a good reading on the stick, thanks to Mike's suggestion of not checking it in bright sunlight. I checked it when I got to work and could park on a super flat spot. It was reading between the 2 and 3, not the specified 3 and 4 (I think). So stopped at HF on the way home and got the $8 transfer pump.
How much should I pump out?

Actually it needs to be between 4-5, pull out a little less than a 1/2 qt and check it!

I've noticed that it doesn't take much to move the level down significantly.
It's possible that I raised the level too much when I added the LubeGuard. I surely didn't think 15oz would make much of a difference.

Hey,
Just went to buy a dipstick and it says "sold out." Are more coming?
I busted out a big batch, I shouldn't run out so fast, it takes a total of 3 days to make them and usually I make a batch of 8-10, this time I did it in stages and got 18 of them done.

I'm also printing funnels as fast as possible, I sent out the first group, which was only 4, next week I should be able to fill all the funnel request?

So Hey,
Everyone who has messaged me about funnels, I am forming a list.

I am sending them out as I get them printed and I'll respond to the message with tracking when I ship them!

Thanks.

Ok, so the provided hoses with the Harbor Freight pump (the red ones) are too fat to get down the Fitzstick. What are you guys using?

I'm using this pump kit. All the hoses work perfectly. $16.99
The inlet hose is 49" long and easily goes to the bottom of the transmission pan.

The 3/8 hose from Home Depot works well, cut the end at an angle and it goes right in.

The red hose slides right over the 3/8 hose and seals well.

Well crap, I was under the impression what came with the HF pump was all you needed. Might as well have spent a little more and got an electric pump with the proper hoses.
No Home Depot here, so will see if I can source the 3/8" OF hose somewhere.

I just stumbled on some 3/8" hose in my stash of crap. It's not a tight fit in the red hose from HF. Possibly with some oil it would seal ok. But doubt it. Maybe it's old and shrank a little. Not gonna try it. Gonna try to and return the unused HF pump. If I can't, the Goodwill store is right next door, so...
Mean time I remembered I had this, and all I need is some longer hose. It's many years old. A NAPA, Balkamp automotive service, brake bleed kit. It doesn't move a lot of volume, but is super heavy duty and can create some decent vacuum or pressure.
