Ok, it arrived today. I barely got off work before I rushed out to slap it on.

1 make sure the truck is not hot at all.
2 there is zero room to stick it down there, crazy how tightly packed the engine is.
3 Instructions are amazing, highly detailed, and made it a piece of cake.
4 packaging was well thought out, very secure, and presented well.
5 sticker is a very high quality, textured and more of a satin sheen. Stickers tell a lot about a company. It earned a place of honor on my toolbox.

Mike and all,

I received my Fitzstick in the mail this week and installed in 2 hours. No issues. I had to go in from the wheel well rubber shielding to get leverage to loosen the old dipstick. Install was straight-forward and didn't require jacking up the truck although I have a 2.5" level. As far as the quality of the packaging - fucking rockstar. It's about time something arrived that didn't have a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy for instructions. Thank you.

Today I took my truck in to get the trans filter and fluid replaced (had it scheduled for 3 weeks). I left the funnel and a note on the passenger seat. The mechanic's feedback is in the attachment.

I got the Fitzstick and trans flushed because folks on this forum recommending it in my welcome note. Thanks folks!

That is awesome! Maybe a note like that would have helped them from overfilling mine.

I got my Fitzstick late last week and installed on Sunday. Packaging was incredible- Mike, you have some serious OCD. ? I did some shipping many years ago, so a poorly packed shipment really bugs me, but Mike obviously spent a LOT of time and effort coming up with a method of ensuring nothing short of the carton getting run over would damage ANY of the contents. It took some effort to unpack everything, but that told me how much Mike cares about what he's doing, and that alone eased my mind as to the care he took in designing and fabricating the dipstick.
As for the installation, it went about as I expected - taking a little longer than I hoped because of the way everything was installed at the factory. My Ranger was one of the early ones, built in Feb 2019, and the transmission wiring harness was right in the middle of where the dipstick needed to feed through. But once everything was moved and adjusted, the fitting connections socked down with no leaks. I also had to run my breaker bar & socket through the passenger wheel well to get leverage to break the seal on the factory dipstick cover. I did the install at 60k miles, and plan to drop the pan and swap the filter in the next 2 weeks as soon as I have a free day to do the musical chair process to free up my lift. I will use my Topsider Oil Extractor to suck out the pan contents through the Fitzstick before dropping the pan to minimize the mess.

Not on topic, but Mike, if you wanted to be super cool you'd make a 3D printed funnel with an extra large opening for the oil. It would twist in securely like the cap. That would be cool.
