Ha!That's so sad. I hope they have the parts necessary for the repairs.
Batch of bad valves, noisy manual transmissions, leaky FDUs, hardtops that de-skin themselves going down the freeway, shock reservoirs that fall off, broken plug welds on the rear axle due to using TTA, windows that won't shut, wipers that overheat and stop working, same terrible flat-tow setup that wrecks tranny's, cracking rear suspension brackets, water intrusion, mismatched seats, mismatched flares, rear power ports that melt themselves, randomly exploding rear windows, paint removal where the swing gate touches the back glass, junk VVT solenoids, junk cam phasers that require engine removal... The list goes on and on and on lol. Job #1!The way I read the recall, it's OTHER drivers who are at the most risk, dodging shock parts littering the highway...just don't follow Broncos too close , leave some swerve room... Damn Ford , first the Broncos were dropping exhaust valves, now they're dropping shock valves ?
Well that list is certainly longer than I was aware of ! The "RRWE" (Random Rear Window Explosion) pronounced "Are We ?" would be the most frustrating for me I think ?...Batch of bad valves, noisy manual transmissions, leaky FDUs, hardtops that de-skin themselves going down the freeway, shock reservoirs that fall off, broken plug welds on the rear axle due to using TTA, windows that won't shut, wipers that overheat and stop working, same terrible flat-tow setup that wrecks tranny's, cracking rear suspension brackets, water intrusion, mismatched seats, mismatched flares, rear power ports that melt themselves, randomly exploding rear windows, paint removal where the swing gate touches the back glass, junk VVT solenoids, junk cam phasers that require engine removal... Now.. dealers have a bunch of broncos they can't sell thanks to the shock recall.. AND they need to replace over half a million shocks for vehicles already on the road ?
It's gonna take quite awhile for Lord Henry to make the shock situation right. Google tells me there's right around 2800 Ford dealers in the states.. divvy up the shock repairs evenly across all the dealers and that's 52 broncos per dealer. Considering how slow Ford dealers are to get to any one person... It'll probably take years for everyone to get replacement shocks.
At least the auto tranny's don't blow up in the broncos ?Well that list is certainly longer than I was aware of ! The "RRWE" (Random Rear Window Explosion) pronounced "Are We ?" would be the most frustrating for me I think ?...
Nothing is uncrackable give the aftermarket gurus time...At least the auto tranny's don't blow up in the broncos ?
We're stuck with the Ford tune only though unfortunately.. the ecu is apparently uncrackable.
Sadly.. the 6g ranger is probably gonna be the same way as far as tuning.
I paid 3k ADM on mine in 23.Overpriced crapola, I see a lot of them on the road and to think early on people were delusional enough to pay over msrp.

Wondering how fast Bilstein can develop and produce 300,000 ( rears only) replacement shocks let alone on going production. That's so sad. I hope they have the parts necessary for the repairs.
