I got the Plush Velour in black to match my ebony interior. Really like this quality cover...lays flat, cutouts are accurate and seams are smooth. You might be able to find a better price at other sellers.

If you have a pre-collision warning device on the dash, be sure and get a cover with the cut-out in it...

Sad but so true! I've never bought one in my life for any vehicle but I did add a 10/100K to this one mostly because of the 10R80. Now that I spent all this money for one you can bet it'll run flawlessly. ?‍

I'd change the steps, I think, so you don't tear your legs up.
Engine cover.
Center console tray.
Middle tie downs since you actually haul stuff.
Ignition bezel (Dean's 3-D printed bezel works fine--he's a member here and many of us have his bezels).
Weather Tech or Husky floor mats.
Lower grille insert (putco or M2M).

I have one that i have not installed and will not be installing as the catch can i went with mounts in the same hole the cover screws in to. Still in the box/ has been opened to inspect. Send me a PM if interested. Im tired of it sitting on a shelf in my garage. lol

I have very little faith that something still wont go wrong. Just like the HVAC heater boxes that were "supposed" to have been changed mid 2020. Several here have had problems with theirs post that date. Besides my truck is used for business so I was able to write it off so it didn't hurt as bad.

They changed the CDF drum in 2023. IIRC this is what they're doing to the latest TSB unless it's an all out failure and needs replacing.

I'm pretty new to this site and honestly I don't quite understand how to use it yet so ignore the small mistakes that are about to follow.

For context, I recently got a 2022 ford ranger with about 48k miles on it and I would love some more mod ideas to make this truck tougher but I don't know exactly what to do. Some ideas i have are a lightbar hidden in the lower open part of the bottom bumper/grill. I think I'm going to use some brackets that allow me not to have to drill holes. I'm trying my best to try to make no holes in this new to me truck. I already have a Cb antenna (Wilson 5000 no magnet) mounted with Cheap amazon mount I bought and I have a CB with it Cobra 29 LTD Classic (1980s). In addition to the CB I have 2 small ditch lights that sit on Diode Dynamics Stage Series Backlit Ditch Light Kit. which all can be seen in my pfp or attached picture. Which i am contemplating upgrading to some Bigger Lights.


1. moral of that passage any new mod ideas (other than cb or Ditch lights)

2. Do I upgrade my current ditch lights which are Nilight LED Light Bar 2PCS 60W 4 Inch Flood Spot Combo. Do i Upgrade them to Nilight Side Shooter LED Light Bar 2PCS 7 Inch Triple Row? On top of all of that could I potentially use the same wiring for the new lights if i do decide to replace them?

Vehicles made 8/16/22 or later have a different internal transmission part referred to as a ‘drum’ or ‘CDF’. I copied this “Per the latest TSB 23-2350 the CDF replacement falls on vehicles built on or before 8/16/22”.
