Thanks for sharing. Canada used to have a huge auto industry - all the big auto makers were involved. That would have been produced at Oakville Assembly, just a short drive southwest of Toronto. The plant still operates.

That is where the Edge was built.

That is where the Edge was built.
And the Corsair - Ford moved production of those to China and had big plans for EV production but will start building Super Duty trucks there instead.

Yes, that is correct. Electric demand was down Super Duty demand up.

Got up Into the park for about 3.5 hours today. Starting to look and feel like fall. High was 64 today and possible first frost of the year next couple nights. Weather was absolutely amazing!

Fishing was tough. Water was crystal clear so fish were easily spooked. Only got one shot at each pool or run. Caught just a couple small rainbow trout on the fly rod.

The Ranger made ferry runs for a trip to O'Reilly's and Lowes for a sensor and a tool I needed for another project...

2012 Grand Cherokee has been throwing a code that the oil pump is stuck in HP mode. Hoping it's the pressure sensor (having eventually removed it, I think there's a good chance)

Unfortunately, that sensor is buried under the entire intake manifold and injector assembly at the top of the head.

Got in there and there's a coolant temp sensor above it, also to be replaced. Partly, because I'm already in here, and partly for access to the problem child.

Had too small of a wrench on it and whoever did the work replacing the oil cooler last time put it on with CLEETUS strength.

It rounded the edges off on me ?? trying to turn the brass fitting with the wrench. Out came the vice grips and I got it out but damn, what a pain.

Put my sensor socket on the oil pressure sensor (no it doesn't fit the other one) and my flex ratchet and that one came right out. It's got oil weeping THROUGH it, so I'm hoping replacing it will solve my problems.

Otherwise I need a new pump and that's beyond my know how and some big bucks.

I'll put the new ones in tomorrow along with new gaskets for the manifold and start buttoning things back up. With a little luck ? we're good to go for a while.

Hauled flooring along with a bag of mortar for my daughters fixer upper .
1000000333.jpg

It was a smooth ride for the 30 minutes from store to house.
The Ranger has been earning its keep on this project.

:inspect: You should've moved it over to the right a little. To take care of that Ranger lean.??

I take pictures of the work we are doing to the house and someone will comment that it looks crooked. My reply is 'my work is level, the rest of the house is crooked.' ;)

Tailgate cut that poor women in half
I made my daughters unload all the flooring. Told them they didn't have to pay for the gym to get a workout today.
