What rock guards are you guys using on the Ranger? I tow a small teardrop trailer and don't want it destroyed by rocks hitting the front.
I used the Rockstar system by Agricover on my F150, but they don't make a size for the Ranger.
Has anyone had good luck with the Rock Tamers brand?

I don't tow and only have the molded mud flaps on mine.
Sorry!

Thanks for the reply. I had the Rockstar full length on my F150. Unfortunately, they don’t make them for rangers. The Rock Tamer brand is not full length.

Are you talking about mud flaps? Rock guards sound more like rock sliders to me.

I'm just using the factory mud flaps on mine.

No. Not rock sliders. Look up Rock Tamers. That’s what I’m looking for.

I have not heard of these (I don't tow) and don't recall any discussions about them. Sounds pretty rare. Hope you can get some advice.

Yes!! That’s what I used to have for my F150. I want the same set up for my Ranger, but cannot find a company that makes them.

I'd never heard that term before - so it is kind of mud flaps on steroids.... I've not seen something like that for a Ranger.

I know. The terminology is not very clear and it seems each company describes them differently.

Out of curiosity (I don't have much towing experience), what's the advantage of these massive things over large mud flaps? In the picture @subquark posted, the truck appears to have both; wouldn't the mud flaps be enough to keep the tires from kicking back debris?

No. The rock guards cover more area and sit lower. They definitely work. When I towed my bigger camper with my F150 I never had rock damage or debris on the front of the camper.
