Hey all! I know these trucks aren’t race cars, but I am curious what kind of 0-60mph times you guys are getting! If you have quarter mile numbers throw that in too! I haven’t timed mine as I don’t have a great way to do it accurately. I am currently Tuned with Unleashed 91 Performance. Go ahead and post your times, location (elevation), and if you’re stock or tuned (list the tune). Throw in a pic of your truck too! I am in southern Utah, USA and travel between 2800ft and 6900ft elevation.

For a while I ran an E50 tune from 5star which my fastest 0-60 was 4.9 with a 13.6 second 1/4 mile. With that being said it was a phone app tracking it so it might not be that accurate

Most of the timed results I've seen give a 6.4-6.7 stock time.

A tune can get you in the mid to low 5's.

Tune with mods in the high 4's.

Ford's rating of 270HP is highly suspect I think as a 270HP Ranger will smoke a 278HP Tacoma like a Chinese vape pen.

Primarily it's the torque as the 2.3 EB makes more torque than all the other midsize trucks except for the new Colorados.

I drove a Colorado with the higher HP engine, though I don't know if it was the 430 torque version. Salesman didn't know either.

It felt similar to my truck with the 87-89 performance tune.

Against a 5 second Ranger, it would still be pretty big in your mirror lol...

Howdy Dennis! Hey, what company/tuner is your 87 tune from? I'm in San Diego, CA and can't justify the price of using 91. Just curious. Not sure if any besides the Ford Performance Tune (that requires 91) will be available for my CA registered VIN. Chinese vape pen

Mine is the Livernois tuner.

It comes with 5 tunes:

87-89 Soft Shift
87-89 Performance
91-93 Soft Shift
91-93 Performance
Tow Tune. Works with any octane rating.

Running an 87 tune will probably put you in the low 6 0-60 times.

You'll likely need the Premium fuel tunes to break into the 5's.

The new Colorado's throttle response feels spongy - but so did my Ranger's until I got a tune (which also adjusted said throttle).

This go around I am going to just go for either a pedal commander or pedal monster as the power output is good for me, I just need the throttle response jacked way up so I can get that same feeling back my Ranger had.

When I press the gas with my big toe I want it to start lurching immediately. My turbo may have lag, but I don't need the pedal to have it too. lol

I sort of also now have a real idea how the twin-scroll turbos of the Ranger feel vs a single turbo. I admit, I miss the pure raw power of my 93+ performance tuneed 2.3 EB motor.

The Colorado's 2.7 HO motor is a hulk in comparison, but it feels chained down at the moment.

I just bought a pedal commander from a member on here an did a little test around the block an it seems like it's exactly what I wanted. No lag, snappy acceleration like I'm in sport mode without the extra rev's and lost MPG that comes with sport mode. This was on my '23 bronco. I didn't feel near as much lag on the ranger stock an after adding the Livernois tune I was very happy with the performance, no need for a pedal commander there.
