Cargo light button

i want the squid launcher to control the light any time i please. moving not moving doors open or closed etc. like old trucks used to be.

Thanks to this thread, I now know I have a cargo light button. The light goes off in less then 10 minutes, more like 2 minutes. However it's pretty useless in my truck since I have a Leer topper on the bed.

I also have a topper. Mine has a light inside, anyone know an easy way to make the topper light come on with the cargo light?

Sorry if this has already been answered, there were a lot of squid comment to read through.

Go into the sync 3 menu and look for squid launcher sub menu. Should have expiration date, weight, and ink load listed. Also check the Ford Pass access box. That will let you remotely launch from the app.

Now I have a craving for fried calamari ?

That light switch would be useful if it would turn off the light . . . as in always OFF.

When we come in off from a trail after dark it would be nice to not light up the entire forest while we change boots and pack up gear. LED puddle lights are more than enough.

I broke my cargo light circuit board because I'm a clumsy fool sometimes, lol. I plasti-dipped over the cargo white lights, so only the 3rd brake light is exposed. I connected the 'reverse' light on my roof rack mounted Putco Blade to my Spod and use it for a cargo light now. It's awesome bright, and completely independant of the puddle lights and automatic functions. On whenever I want, driving or not.

I actually took the bulbs out of mine. Never used them and got sick of them coming on every time I opened the doors.
