I'm sure the neighbors in F350s come over and go "you can't pull that!"

I had a fudd in an F350 tell me he had a ranger in the 90s and would never tow with one ?
That's when you reply "no kidding, I wouldn't either!" leaving him confused

So after 4 years of procrastination, I pulled the trigger to get the RV... It's ride home through the rush hour GSP traffic wasn't too bad and it pulls quite well. Went with a dry weight of 4200# and that gives me the footprint to be able to go where I want to go and not have a behemoth to lug around.

Nice rig. You are a few hundred pounds dry heavier than my single axle. Your trailer siE is what we will be looking at next time. Enjoy it!

So 6400 lbs with full tank (75gals), full cooler and 4 batteries. Give the Ranger A- towing grade. it had to go down to 6th to hold 70 on medium hills. Otherwise handled it fine. The fuel dock is where all my money goes with this thing. $6/gal at the lake!

I would say that is one drawback of making small engines make big power and using them for trucks. Compression braking just isn't as good as the old-school V8's, but that's just about the only real downside to towing with them.

What size trailer is that with the tractor? What drop are you using?
That trailer is a 7’x 16’ 7k SureTrac brand. Using a 6” adjustable drop hitch. I tow this trailer with a UTV routinely back and forth from NY to northern Maine 500 miles each way, it tracks great in tow. I am actually shopping for a new drop hitch as this is a 5k rated hitch. I am towing more often now, and would like a 7k or 10k rated hitch. Current hitch is about 20 yrs old, and has been sanding and repainted 2 or 3 times, so I want to upgrade for safety.

Ok. I was curious because I'm looking to get a tractor about that size and will be hauling with my Ranger.

Just picked up a 6x10 cargo trailer, partially converted to a camper. Weighs around 1600-1800 lbs estimated. Pulled it 1400 miles home. It tracked nicely and the Ranger pulled it without any issues other than the short range.

This is what i use on my truck. I tow a comparable trailer and tow where the ball is now. On a single axle trailer i tow i have to put the ball at the lowest point. Only once have i used the rise and that was for a tractor rental trailer from home depot. Tounge sat pretty high. Ignore the 10" drop. It is 8. I cut it due to 10" dragging all the time. I store it behind the seat.

GEN-Y.

I dont think they make the rebel anymore, just gave it a new name really. But it has been an awesome hitch super durable, super strong.

Nice looking jet boat, 22 or 25 feet? I've been looking at the Scarab 255 open with their twin 300hp pumps.
