Being a Tacoma state I don’t expect much rangers rolling out

I agree that this is a Tacoma state, but it used to be a Ranger state. I see old Rangers all over the place. Literally, I think I can't drive more than 5 minutes without seeing an old Ranger. There is like 4 or 5 just on the street next to my house.

So far, I've seen about 10 new Rangers and have gotten quite a few compliments when going in the base gates from guards that are "locals". I think there is definitely interest.

Now that I have a ranger, I see them all the time. Only seen a few new ones so far.

Lol I mostly see the old ones, since I have my Ranger (got it in June) I think I've only seen 3 other new Rangers.

But, yes, I think there's definitely interest, many people that compliment me were interested themselves and said they weren't aware that they're already for sale in HI

I have test drove at Cutter and LOVE the truck but working other priorities. Had only seen a few until yesterday. Since yesterday I have seen two on Fort Shafter and one at City Cycle. The owner let me gawk a bit. She has a Lariat FX4 and loves it. Enjoy and thanks for letting me chime in and remember, Drive with Aloha!

True, Hawaii is definitely a Taco haven but I cannot see myself owning one, the seating position really annoys me.
I took the leap and just emailed Honolulu Ford fleet sales what I would like them to order, the document is attached.
I purposely went with a SuperCab because I prefer a 6 foot bed and like the profile of it.
Wasn't about to wait for the rumored 2021 redesign, I've seen just 2 new Rangers on the road, both were SuperCrews
This will be my 4th. new Ford P/U, I've owned 2 F series 4x4's and a Ranger 4x2 all were special orders and were/are dark blue. Call it midlife crisis, for this one I sprung for the red metallic.

8/24/19 Correction: I decided to go with Cutter Ford instead

lol, that is funny. not much Aloha here on Oahu(even from the people rockin "drive with Aloha" stickers). Just a lot of very frustrated people.

So very true, too many vehicles on Oahu and not enough roads, makes me feel guilty placing an order on a new truck.
But, then again the last time I did this was 19 years ago when I bought my Y2K

That could've been me, I had family visiting and went to the Kapolei area several times.
