Your welcome. There’s so many variables involved when trying to determine if it’s a good investment. You really need to plan on staying where you are for 8-10 years and also get multiple quotes. You’re going to pay the electric company so investing in solar will pay off in the long run.
There’s only 2 of us too and my house is only 1,700 sq ft so I didn’t need a huge system. After tax credits I paid $9,800 and now 8 years later it’s already paid for itself. I upgraded to better LG panels so they produce more with less panels on my roof. Now I just pay the taxes and fees and maybe one day (if we stay here longer) I’ll invest in battery backup.
Just over $6K in credits you bet I'm taking them. lol If it makes you feel better the AZ credit was only $1K. With about 6M here at the time your share would've been about 0.0001667.Your welcome.
No, no it doesn't. I pay federal taxes.Just over $6K in credits you bet I'm taking them. lol If it makes you feel better the AZ credit was only $1K. With about 6M here at the time your share would've been about 0.0001667.![]()
You have only 3 times to guess what’s in my Rangers bed right now?I'd love to insulate our small garage. @Kristina introduced me to Rockwool and, for our older home, it seems like it would be the best, easiest, and most economical choice. Fire retardant, bug and rodent resistant, good water vapor characteristics, and non-itchy to install. And then some type of vinyl or water resistant wall for the bottom 4 feet or so. My dream ... =)

That was for the AZ part alone which was a credit of $1,000. The federal credit was $5,200.No, no it doesn't. I pay federal taxes.
Ever wonder why inflation is so high? How much would your install have cost if the tax credits were not there? If I were a betting man, I would say not much more than you paid out of pocket.

303 Graphene and dampers?

That's equivalent to property tax here. Finally Registered MP2! I tried before leaving on our trip but the dealer forgot to sign one of the papers. ?Luckily the DMV here gave me a 90 day temp tag because we were leaving in a few days and even though they overnighted the new papers I didn't have to rush around getting this done last minute.
Besides, I knew it was going to be expensive as sales tax and our vehicle tax is high here. So next time anyone wants to complain about theirs being expensive remember this is what we pay.
Sales Tax: $3,261.28
Vehicle Tax: $558.26
Title/Registration: $12.00 lol
2 other useless fees: $2.38

That's double my property taxes here! ?That's equivalent to property tax here.![]()
That's about 1/2 my property tax. My Ranger was $3600 sales tax, $125.00 registration, and $12.50 tire disposal fee. The disposal fee is crap because when you buy new tires they charge you again for disposal plus disposal for the new ones. That's double my property taxes here! ?Luckily (for now) those have stayed relatively cheap with all the commercial/industrial building going on here.
a material slightly less hazardous than asbestos.
