Currently on my 19 FX4 I have a BDS level kit that is performing well off road but I want to get some better performance out of it. I do not plan on changing wheels or tire size, I am running on Steel bronco 17in wheels on 265/70R17s and the Grabbers have proven well in the mud and sand.

I am pretty much set on the Eibach 2.0 Stage 1 coilover package based on reviews and price I think this what I am going to go with.

I have about $2000 to play with as I promised the wife I would not spend my entire bonus on truck parts (leaves about 500 on the table)

As for the the rest of my plans I am thinking of adding the BDS rear shackles and the front sway bar disconnects.. My off roading consist of mostly fire roads that is are not really maintained with the occasional washed out section that gives flexy fun times. Are the the shackles worth getting for extra travel in the rear? Or should I spend money elsewhere?

Eibach has a good repuation so can't go wrong there, from what I've heard its worth splurging for the upgraded rear shocks (with piggyback reservoirs). Only issue you might see with shackles is because of that extra travel you'd want to verify that whatever shocks you go with can accommodate that, since you don't want your shocks to be the limiting factor in that situation.

I have the Eibach and am really happy. I went with the set that has rear resi.

I have a set of the BDS shackles that are brand new never used. I swapped tremor leaf’s into mine and got about a half inch of lift which I was happy with.

PM me if you want to buy the shackles or see my add in the suspension section.

the 2R package that includes the rear shocks with reservoirs is about as much as the 2.0s ad shackles... so Might end up with those and the disconnects.

I wont get the bonus until next February so I have time to plan stuff

For more travel in the rear it might be worth spending more and replacing the rear leafs with something like icon or ome. I have the icon leafs paired with the fox 2.0 shocks and the icons definitely flex better than stock

I guess I should ask also. Should I get the sway bar disconnects? Or spend that money elsewhere?

also forgot about deaver

tbh deaver is one of the better leaf spring companys you can go with and will always outflex and outlast icon and old man emu

well maybe not outlast old man emu lol my old dakar pack was put through hell and it kept going

so ill be in the minority here...

i have the eibach 2.0s and ill say it i hate that i bought these coilovers... i should have gotten the fox 2.0s or just saved up and went fox 2.5 all the way around... these things ride rough and i do not like it.. im use to plush but stiff ride from how my tacoma was setup but this thing just jarrs when it hits a bump instead of soaking it up... biggest waste of money ive done on this truck.. and mine are not even a year old......

I have the Eibach 2.0 coilovers and rear shocks and i like a lot better than the stock FX4 suspension. I don't have experience with the Fox offerings but I like the Eibachs.

Just did Bilstein 6112's with 5160 rears. I like them better than my Fox's though the Fox's weren't really appropriate for my bumper/winch.
I may consider a heavier spring next season though.

This is due to the digressive valving on Eibacks. I would have the same opinion as you if I had those shocks. I went Fox 2.0 on the rear immediately after purchase in 2021. I will be adding the Fox 2.0 fronts in a few months. The Fox's are definitely softer, though composed.

BTW, Bilsteins are also digressive and why I don't want those on my truck either. I know many love them, which is great. Everyone has different needs.
