Good work Dave, truck is looking great!? Been on the fence about the AVS bug deflector, starting to get too many rock chips.

Thanks Tyler. I added it to my '19 and noticed a huge difference just in the amount of bugs hitting the windshield. I put it on right before our long trip (5,000 miles) so I mostly wanted tom make sure I didn't get a lot of rock chips too. Besides doing what they're supposed to do I think they look good too and easy to instal. Here's a good video on the instal.Good work Dave, truck is looking great!? Ooh yeah! That looks like fun. We know you're gonna show us how you do.Just about everyone by now knows what happened to MP1 so now it's time to start over and build MP2. I kept telling myself I'm not going to buy a lot of things for this one yet somehow I keep finding more stuff to buy. lol One main reason I wanted the Tremor package was for the suspension and larger tires. I already did these (twice ?‍) on MP1 and I just didn't have time to do it again before leaving in 2 weeks. So far I'm super happy with the package and it rides really nice!
I found MP2 at Corwin Ford in Spokane Valley, WA while it was still in transit. The salesman David Low was a pleasure to deal with and kept me informed the whole way. It arrived at the dealer the day after MP1 was declared a total loss so it was fate.

Chris, trust me I'd love one and I am on the list at a couple of dealers for a Raptor. But honestly after getting the Tremor I'm not sure I'm going to pursue it. I'm really loving the Tremor now and I'm having a hard time justifying dishing out another $10K+ for a Raptor.Ooh yeah! That looks like fun. We know you're gonna show us how you do.
But c'mon AZ, tell us about how you're placing your order for the new RAPTOR! Gotta be someone on here doing that. Since you are akin to our fearless leader around here, I can't think of anyone better to dive in first. Rangers rule! I've not experienced a nicer group of people on a forum.
Thanks for sharing.
Completely understand, I was mostly kidding about the Raptor, mostly...Chris, trust me I'd love one and I am on the list at a couple of dealers for a Raptor. I did talk to the sales manager on Friday about the Raptor and he said he's now decided he wants one and is going to take the first allocation they get. It won't be until the 4th qtr when all the dealers find out what their allocations will be for next year. That's perfect because by then I'll have a better idea of what I want to do and how the economy is going. Right now retirement is more of a priority and as much as I'd love a Raptor I really don't need one. lol ?
I did that once and they rubbed through the paint on the hoodOh, Put the bump stops on the back side of the bug deflector not the hood.
I totally understand about wanting one. If I still had my '19 I would most definitely be pursuing it more seriously. I feel this was a blessing in disguise with the accident in me getting this Tremor and not having a loan anymore. Plus as I get older my needs are outweighing my wants. ?Completely understand, I was mostly kidding about the Raptor, mostly...
I've seen your other posts explaining the Raptor thing. Others as well have been remarking about how their Tremor pretty much gives them everything they need and that is completely understandable too.
I'm the same way, kind of, I have everything I want and need with mine and there would have to be some kind of exceptional circumstance for me to even consider being serious about getting a Raptor. But dammit if those aren't like the coolest thing I've ever seen. I used to dream about owning a stadium truck or a Baja truck when I was a kid (and still today) and the Raptor is exactly that. Even better than I dreamt of, really.
You know someone here will do it though and I can't wait to see THAT post.

You don’t know what you need… Take Raptor to a test drive when there will be finally something to take. The longer the better and you’ll see…

I had it on my '19 like this and for a good 12,000 miles and when I took it off it was still perfect. The deflector is pretty far away from touching the hood so that's an awful lot of flex if it does. I've done a few triple digit speed runs too. For testing purposes of course.I did that once and they rubbed through the paint on the hood
