Hello fellow peeps.

If anyone has ever wondered or uses their ranger for emergency vehicle purposes. I have recently wired in lights to my vehicle, completely NO drill and hidden wires. ?

@OFC Ranger he's got a wild set up...are you LEO too?

Use for extra jobs off duty
If I'm doing extra jobs, my expectation is time and a half. When I'm done, I'm done and me inside a Ford Ranger is a picture of a guy who's done!
...just sayin.

Do your agencies cover you for on-duty accidents in your personal vehicles?
The agency we are contracted through for DoT Jobs carries insurance. My normal agency has take home cars but I am not allowed to use it for out of city jobs Lol lame

All I can say is...
Thank goodness for overtime. The FDNY is so shortstaffed for EMS officers, that any time I want to work, there's some where to pick up a shift.

...in a vehicle that's not mine.

Our agency is in for an ultra-hurting soon for staffing. Our senior sergeant just put in his 2 weeks. I am looking to go somewhere else in July once I qualify for my retirement full vestment (so that is is another sgt), 1 of 2 investigators is on the edge, and 4 or more officers are predicted to make their exit to other departments in next 6-12 months.

Our staffing level for the road has been 10 for some time across 4 rotations when it should be 16. No current apps in, 1 non-cert in the academy. The municipality I work for is a hot mess and most of us are done with the incompetency of this place.

Our retention rate for 2 year contracted officers whom we pay to go to the local academy sits at basically 0%.

sounds like Dallas. But they have some officers stay.
