Looking out our front door this morning. Last night thousands of snow geese that are migrating moved in and took over abo 100 acres of old corn field. Usually there is 4 ft of snow covering the fields this time of year and they keep going. The sky was black with the landing last night.

Here in Louisiana, a sure sign of spring is when the clover start to take over.
Problem is, they started a month ago.

But seriously, once the pecan trees start to get new leaves, you can be sure spring is here. I don't care what that rat in PA says.

Over here in the Shenandoah Valley, Staunton area, it's been a snow free winter so far. Weather people say it's not likely to snow here the rest of the season. Never even got the snow thrower out.
