I know it's tough but let's stay away from the political line we're dancing on and talk about the gas stoves. Or the huge 5G party Ed & David are going to be throwing for all of us this summer on their BBQ's. ?

We just installed a gas hot water heater last year. Like our gas furnace and gas fireplace, it draws outside air.(direct vent). Our gas stove uses ambient air. For safety, we always donn an oxygen tank while cooking and require our guests to do the same.

I don't know if it is legal anymore have an indoor wood burning furnace that isn't direct vented in Wisconsin. Our first house had a log wood burner that used ambient air and electric baseboard heat That house was a 60's split level.

We wanted to convert to natural gas for our boiler but the timing led us to another oil one, I guess Greta was looking out for us that day! =p

My apologies for lighting the fire on this... We are not going to solve this here... So if this is for stoves n bbq... Charcoal wood or gas when bbq... Red sauce vinegar wet of dry... Pig cow chicken or roadkill .. these seem to be the best options... Pre steam, foil wrap, pressure cooker .. tons of styles n prep... I prefer slow cooked pig baby backs...seasoned no wet stuff ..
