I can't believe they are trying to ban my gas cooking stove and wood stove. Next will be charcoal and gas grills along with smokers. This is one battle that I will fight to the end if implemented.

I've had pretty bad asthma since I was young. I've never noticed any difference when having an electric cooktop to a gas cooktop in any of my homes. Heck I'd bet that the formaldehyde in our carpets and furniture are way worse than the gas cooktops. What's next banning furniture!

Another glass of whiskey, have our gas oven on baking fresh loaf of bread and just threw another log in the roaring Jotul woodstove. IN A Gadda Da Vida cranked up, emitting gas from the chili we had for lunch . Life is good for the moment.

So, we need the government to tell us that running gas stoves, (like me) and non vented gas heaters is bad??? Pretty sure manufacturers already warned us on Owners Manual.

Here, in VT, they actually are encouraging us to burn wood and gas. Pushing heat pumps as well, I'm already on that ride and Lovin every minute of it. Please, don't anyone move here. It will cause global warming acceleration...

I have an all electric air handler for heating and cooling, and nice warm wood stove when it gets cold enough. I don't give a fuq what the gov tells me is best. I do what works best for me. Also, I really wish I had a gas stove.

How about patio heaters at eateries and backyards, and the gas fireplaces.
Where does it end?

They floated banning firepits and fireplaces an wood burning stoves. They got pushback big time. Now the little lefties go along with everything so I expect them to float it again.

So today our governor Hochul said she is banning using gas to heat any new homes built in NY supposedly starting soon. So fireplaces are out also. Said it's the main cause of global warming. I need a bottle of whiskey to figure this all out. The grid in our area is stressed now. I need to move. All hail the queen.
