What did I do to my Ranger today? Not much... unless you count day dreaming about when I might receive it. But I also read about other people's Rangers. And looked at pictures. And read reviews that I've already read multiple times. And watched some of the same Ranger videos... again. And looked in my garage just in case Santa came early. Sigh.

Should be here anytime. I mean it's been 4 days since I ordered it and all... :computerrage:

Luckily I'm a very tolerant man and have no issue with waiting in the lines of life. Patience is my most obvious virtue to all who know me. (Peaceful music playing in the background.)

Good thing my wife didn't see that last couple of comments. After she gave me "the look," then she'd make me apologize to you folks for flat out lying from the safety of my dream world.

For you single guys questioning "the look." Trust me, one day you will fully understand. At my house it involves one raised eyebrow. Just got a bit scared simply typing that.
I get "the look" from my wife. Like after I wash my truck, and I plop a lawn chair next to it and stare, and move around to stare from different angles. Or when I park it and look back at it. She thinks I'm in love. ❤

Hi Folks,

My trusty 2019 Ranger SCREW took me to my local Phlebotomist. Much better this time...routine work... Last year I had a PhleOWist.... Hurt like I never experienced before.....

Best,
Phil

We all know "The Look" all to well. Just a bit of advise since you're new here don't make Tracy @Tracy Bowman mad. She gave Jim @wanted33 "The Look" a while back and it scared him off the forum for several months. ? :surprised:

Dumped some compost for a friend and was lucky not to rip up the whole driver's side , the trailer only had about 4 inches clearance through the gate and I nailed it the first go around but they wanted it more to one side once past the gate so all the angling got me stuck like this and going straight would run the trailer into the fence.

Next time I'm going to quit while I'm ahead as I was cringing the whole time.

On the bright side the ranger was able to push the loaded dump trailer down and then up over a ditch across wet ground without really pushing the engine hard.

Dropped the Ranger off for service. Auto stop/start hasn't been working for a while and getting close to end of warranty. They said they would throw it on the Ford battery tester which will run for 3 or 4 hours and then check the charging system.
Of course the change oil soon warning came on yesterday so will have that done along with a tire rotation. I must be getting old to let that happen.
Getting an appointment at the dealer I bought the Ranger at was impossible. Online they don't have anything available until end of November and I called 5 times and either didn't get an answer or was disconnected. I ended up getting an appointment at the dealer I bought my Fusion at which is 10 minutes further away.
Hoping for a new battery at no cost.

Oh man, I was so obsessed with waiting for mine. This forum kept me sane (and helped pry loads of money from my wallet).

I also pretty much watched every Ranger video on YouTube! =D

Good luck and it's well worth the wait (and a good time to come up with a name for your truck - frowned upon by many, secretive by some, and a smile on my face for mine - Soupie!).

Nice dump trailer and awesome backing job - keeping the reputation of the Ranger, and their owners, going! =)

Name... ok. I'm on it.

At least the name isn't an upgrade that costs money!

Technically no but it does remind you of everything you've bought for it. ?

Oh man, I don't ever want to do that again. I may look well on the outside, but the mental scars are slow to heal. :frown:

@Friday yet? ? Just a heads up. After being married to the same woman for 45 years I thought I had mastered the art of avoiding "The Look". Crazy me for thinking that being the master of the art I would be OK. But, Miss Tracy @Tracy Bowman took me to school all over again. The horror....the horror........:surprised:

So ... bought an electric Toro snow thrower. Loaded it up (178 pounds) and thanks to a passing customer, got it into the bed (they don't seem to have any lifts at Home Depot - sheesh, Lowe's has an electric one and even Harbor Freight had a manual one).

Next day, when batteries were charged, tried it out. Since it had been assembled by HD, nothing was right. The first forward gear moved it backward, the auger was spinning without being engaged. So I adjusted it and got that set.

But the unit would start after placing in a battery (without the key in) then run, and start beeping. Messed with it more to no avail.

So loaded it back into the bed (ugh on my back and being short), drug it back, and got a boxed one (the one I had was outside and rained on for months).

They got two guys to help load it this time. Then took it home and it sits, boxed, in the garage until I assemble it this weekend.

BUT ....

Live Free or Die New Hampshire still allows people to ride in the bed! So my daughter and daughter-in-law took advantage and did that!

I may, or may not have, made politically incorrect statements, yelling at them to hurry up and no-work-no-pay in Spanish, and could have implied they were my day laborers. =p

Ranger took me to a job interview. The company is a rival to our local Ford dealer. Many trucks and cars.
No pictures this time.
Best of luck on your job search!

Me and the foreman (Cheech) just went and picked this up. I'm off tomorrow and promised I'd help our elderly neighbor with her leaves (which are all from my giant oak tree).

It really sucks. Well, I hope it does! =D
