What did you do to your Ranger today?

Deleted member 15875

Received and installed my Ford tailgate cover.
Love the look, protection and the beer perches.
Let me say that " Levittown Ford Parts " is the ticket.
I shopped around and most everyone was a least 2 weeks to get the tailgate cover. I just order this the other day and received installed. Got to love it.
They also helped me get extra factory tie down loops for the bed.

I ordered the entire drop in bed kit. Coming next week. I want to see if my grippy floor matte like yours will lay over it.

It was time for some audio upgrades. I had some gear from my last install and added a new subwoofer.

Morel Maximo 6.5" components

Morel Maximo 6.5" coaxials

JL Audio 8w3

Skar RP 600.5

Audiocontrol LC7i

Integration was a breeze thanks to plugnplaykits.com

Completed the grille swap this morning, posting a shot of the little clips that hold the old one in, helps to know what you are trying to release.

Graphene, finally did the graphene that @AzScorpion turned me on to. And all I can say is WOW!

Kate was washing her car on probably our last over 70 degree day, so I did too. And it's the first time I scrubbed it with a mitt! The graphene went on easily and buffed out even easier.

This is just one layer and I didn't do any paint correction, in fact there are still some tiny sap droplets on it (and two acorn dents, bah!).

Kate's got all the stuff in her detailing cart.

This is serious business for someone who last waxed a car in 1982 ...

The hood's looking pretty shiny.

The door's really shiny but graphene does make me look fat.

I decided I don't like the tray on the dash and all the things in my field of vision, so I made some changes today. Moved the mic for my GMRS down to the center console. It does not interfere with my wife, even when she crosses her legs on long trips, and there is no interference with the shifter.

Moved the Auxbeam down to the fuse panel. Right now, its just held on with tape (which fails every few minutes). I can see and press the buttons where it sits. I will run it for a couple days and, as long as I like it, I will drill some holes and mount it permanently.
