I have mine disabled VIA my SCT BDX. The "off" light is never on whilst in drive, but it is on wile in Sport/TT. I also noticed that I can control how many gears it uses while in town, in Drive, by hitting the - button on the shifter. Only using gears 1-7, for example, in town keeps it in the boost a lot easier..

Dude - as soon as I got my trucks home from the dealer that is the FIRST THING I DID... Disable that SH@T.

Pull that little plug off the battery terminal and it disables the auto stop... There is a vid on youtube.

The whole process takes less than 30 seconds...
That screws up your battery monitoring system. Just put a $4 night light in the back seat receptacle.

The circuit resets itself by default, so you don't have 'full control'. The concept is foreign to you apparently....
Really? There are some ass hacks on here for sure.

Simply plugging in a cheap night light into the 110 outlet in the back seat area. It tells the ASS not to turn on. I don't even notice the faint light, even at night. It turns off when truck is off. Many people have posted this solution.

Yup. Best and cheapest mod I've made to my truck.

We have AGM batteries. The BMS system charges the battery by factory default to 70% of it total capacity. So by disconnecting it you're charging it to 100%. A standard flooded battery has the advantage of being able to discharge to 80% without causing any harm to the battery. An AGM battery can only be discharged to 50% without risking a shortened lifespan. Overcharging an AGM battery can also shorten its lifespan.

There really must be such a thing as electronic gremlins, yesterday coming home from work , like every other day , clearly in sport mode , I can see I am , I can feel I am , come to a stoplight, like all the others , truck shuts off and the ASS indicator on the dash lights up , make sure I'm really in sport mode , and scratch me head ??? didn't do it again , and I tried ... gremlins I guess...
You are ahead of me, not even sure what Sport mode is or how to get into it.

Back in Driver’s Ed, we were taught:

P for Park
R for Race
D for Drag
L for Leap
S for Speed

When we recently bought this the salesperson told us nothing about the truck. Sounds like ours doesn't have ASS, still not sure what that is :)
ASS = Automatic Stop/Start.

The truck will shut off when you come to a stop to save on fuel. Kinda annoying actually and many disable it. You can buy a disabler for $80 or plug a $2 night light into the rear seat electrical outlet. Both will disable it.
