Not quite how I imagined my first time having the truck winched going. Dead battery and couldn’t get it jumped, so off to the dealer since it’s still under warranty. Hoping they can give me a new one today and not have to go through this again.
Looks like mine a few weeks ago. I hope for you it is the battery and it fails the Rotundra test, not something more serious.

Yep, it failed as expected and I got a new one covered by the warranty. It was definitely a hassle as it took up my morning and part of the afternoon waiting around the dealership (and now receiving texts from their annoying sales staff and follow-up survey requests), but paying $0 instead of $350+ was worth it.

Nothing exciting.

Drove it to the barber shop, then breakfast at McDonalds, then stopped at an estate sale, then stopped at a cutlery store/bought a big Bowie Knife, lol, then stopped at a dollar store to buy a couple things, and got back home before noon.

I made a picture of the truck at the estate sale. Look at that sporty Supercab!

The Ranger is tired. Been driving daily for the past month while moving offices. Almost have 18k now and had to put gas in it weekly instead of monthly.
That should last another week when we finish closing the old office and then I have time to get it to the dealer for a checkup on the charging system and battery.

My 97 2.3L Ranger hit 400,000 miles on it. The engine, transmission, and differential are all original.

Took her to the gas station for a fill up. I had been letting it get to half and then filling up with 87 since I got the truck back in mid June.
Said I was going to get to 1/4 tank and fill up with 93
Hopped out and looked at the 93 price being close to $1 more than 87.
Said nope...not this time ole gal....87 for you

Spent a few days in Astoria where we have a house we’re slowly moving into. Saw this nice red Ranger. Thought I was the only Cactus Grey up there but saw another super crew which had been jacked up about six inches.
