I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Bob @Bob902 for giving 35 years in law enforcement. :like::clap: It's really a thankless job today and I hope you enjoy every day of retirement from here on out! Of course you know we're all going to help you drain your pension on more stuff for your Ranger. ?

Congrats on your retirement. I am way to young to even be thinking about this but I will say I am hoping for 57 which would give me 30 years in the UC system and almost 90% of my pay for the rest of my life plus my 403b and medical :)

Have a good productive retirement and thank you for your service. I’m sure you’ll be missed.

I’m at that age now too. Not ready yet though as I already know what’s coming when I do. Retired at 43 and 5 years later wife sat me down. Ether you or I is getting a job or somebody in this house is going to die. ? Fast forward 17 years and I’m lucky enough to have an employer now that is begging me to stay on. Keep throwing wads at me and it’s hard to say no. I guess it’s more about loving what your doing and it’s not being a job. Just another chapter in life!

Grats Bob and thank you for what you have done!

I have less than 30 days to go in uniform myself, then I start my process out. Not really done until 1JAN but for me it's time to find another job. Unfortunately it's not a full retirement. That or take what I am making from my pension and ask the wife to work more. I'll be a stay at home dad at 40. This plan has potential.....

Enjoy!
