I installed the OEM splash guards. So why do they give you two T25 screws for the front?

They also show to throw away the original screws, which I didn't realize until I saw the new screws. I had already reused the originals. There isn't any lock compound on them, so I dunno why I'd use them. Maybe the fenders will fall off, but it all seems tight and properly torqued.

My non-ford branded ones had the same screws, I just reused the OEM ones for convenience.

The new ones would probably rust faster anyway.

Retired for now!
Installed the CAT tailgate mat today. Looks good and it will keep my tailgate from getting all scratched up and rusting. Just hate to install all the little black hold down screws. Had to cut it to fit the tailgate too. Turned out good though.

Sort of my first attempt at upholstery work, it came out ok but I need to clean up the inside. Or hide it lol

Little more work today. Upholstery for other side came out a bit better after I cruised YouTube to learn a thing or two. Also decided to add some switches on each side that will eventually control some lighting under the panels.

Flipped my front license plate bracket cause couldnt stand it sitting above the bumper...
I was working on adding some mesh in the lower opening, so I removed the plate/bracket.
Looks so good without it! I never put it back, and if "someone " would ask where it is... I'm not finished with the project yet. Wink, wink, nod, nod...if you know what I mean?

Got the dash panels installed, hard to photograph the colour, especially at night, but happy with how it turned out.

Also fixed the red stitching on the wheel (needs another going over) and covered the red straight ahead mark with some vinyl (No, it’s not straight, tomorrow’s job).

Much less boy racer.

Also added auto mirror folding and central locking to the tailgate last weekend. Both should have been factory fitted, but what do you do?

For me it's the lack of energy some days and luckily it's not all the time. I can be good for days and sometimes weeks then all of a sudden I get really tired and feel like all the energy was just sucked out of me. My gf keeps saying it's old age creeping up on me but I'm sticking with the lingering Covid effects. ?
Same here. Go for days and then bam, like a deflated tire. Occaisionally I'll be working on something and about half way trhough the day all my energy is gone and I'm a couch potato! Guess I'm not 26 anymore!

Nice steps :like:

Thanks, they were more than I wanted to spend but less than Power steps and easier to install.

We're both short (5'6" and 5'2") and my wife has a bad leg, so these make eat really easy. It's like stepping onto a ladder rung for us.

I didn't like the style when I saw pics but my wife saw a video of them and said they looked the best to her.

But seeing them first hand, I really like them and glad we went this way.

The money I've spent on accessories would have gotten me damn near a Lariat! Well, a more decked out XLT at least.

Thanks for the nice words, I appreciate it.

And they seem to look extra sharp on yours, the stainless really pops with your truck's color!
