Put mine into S-mode for the first time in 17,000 miles. I had no idea what the S was for and it never really dawned on me to wonder. Wow, it's a totally different truck. Not great for the Average MPG though... :|

S mode is fun to drive around in and really wakes the truck up. You just substitute Miles Per Gallon for Smiles Per Gallon. ?

Two things to remember, guys...
1) It's a 4-Runner, not a Taco.

This is why I need to limit my time on this site. First it is all the cool stuff that is available for these Ranger’s, next with the FX4 option all the fun that can be had. I told myself when I get the new one I’m not going to drive like I stole it like I have been doing with the 06 since new. I think the site could use a resident Dr. Phil to help with all the problems this site causes.

We do have our own resident "Dr. Phil", a well know authority on the site.
And his trusty sidekick, "Dr. Dave (in training)" who will advise and prescribe certain things you need to buy to help cure what ails your Ranger .

Installed the new Ranger performance grille. Had the surround and ford section painted to match, also added the light kit as well.

Nice. What was the paint code? If I do this I will have a my local Maco paint match it.
