I received my VIN less than a week after email confirmation of order, build however wasn't until mid-late April, and was entirely dependent upon Ford's scheduling in production.
Thanks, I am familiar with the build schedules.

I'm looking for someone who rec'd a VIN recently (the last couple weeks) and what their build date is, to see what weeks are filled.

Last weeks VIN's were scheduled for 6/20, hence my update.

I got a pushed back delivery date email from Ford yesterday, they said that the date of May 4th was no good anymore (now, that's some smart software on the 9th!). =D

So I dropped an email to my sales guy this morning and he let me know it's in Massachusetts at the rail yard and is now waiting for a truck driver—woohoo!

Of course, who knows when that will happen but it's getting closer and boy, I already have a half a dozen dump runs planned! LOL, the things we get excited about! =)
I have been talking to the salesman and someone I know at Avon assembly, what I hear is the plants can’t get finished vehicles out because of the lack of truck drivers. They are scrambling to get finished vehicles on trucks to get them delivered. If I had to guess it is the cost of diesel that is keeping the independents from driving. I have noticed that if you go on Fords site and build one as you look at the cost, the price for destination charge has gone up $200. I just hope Ford can keep their promise and get all these trucks built.

Well friends, here is my new Ranger Tremor. I actually picked it up this morning and brought it back in unwashed and undetailed condition. It was actually pretty muddy and had all the stickers and plastic left on / in it. I requested that the dealership only check the fluids and check air pressure in the tires. I have seen black vehicles come out of a dealership cleanup for delivery with swirl marks. Therefore, I cleaned it up myself. I still have some more detailing as the lot it was sitting in must of been muddy before they transferred it to rail cars. The steps on the Tremors are nice but a bitch to get the mud off of. I will work on it some more tomorrow. I spent about 7 hours on it, added a big tool box in the bed, put a trifold soft cover on it, put a new bed mat on the bed floor, and added a 4" stubby antenna. Plus I put in a center console top insert in as well. And yes Dave, I have a Dee Zee tailgate damper to install tomorrow as well...Where is my T shirt??? (LOL!)
Plus, on the highway running about 55 to 60, I was getting about 26 to 27 MPG. Yippee! A lot better than the Gladiator that I had! I like it very much :like:

Congrats on finally getting your Tremor Phil it sure looks great!!? I don't blame you for not letting them touch it, heck my Jeep was white and I told them not to touch it either. Now you need the whole 303 product line to protect and keep that beauty clean. lol You know the rules, once the damper is installed and pics to prove it you'll get your t-shirt.?

4 months, 8 days from order and it's finally in my driveway. So stoked! There is light at the end of the tunnel, all.

It has A/T tires even though the Sport pack is suppose to have H/T. Not complaining about that at all. I'm sure I'll find a few other mismatches soon.

Does anyone know, for the most recent scheduled orders (those who have just received their VIN), what is their build date? i.e. If I were to get an email this Thursday, does anyone have an idea of what the build date might be? Best case scenario?

I'm trying to determine how much time/money I should spend on my current vehicle. I'll need tires and brakes soon and it pains me to use money set aside for a down payment on a vehicle I'm replacing.
I ordered mine on Lariat Tremor on March 13, VIN & Sticker released May 3rd, and my build started yesterday on May 9th.

Time to start a class-action law suit. Three sequential emails promising a delivery date some time within a week long window were missed. Six weeks of "pending" shipment and missed delivery windows means Ford is lying to me. Either the truck is not actually in working order or Ford is intentionally forcing me to wait.

I want my dealer to pay back interest at 29.9% on a $500 loan to them and Ford to pay $500 per week rental expenses for non-delivery of finished product. If they claim there are not enough convoy trucks to move the product, you know they lie when vehicle sales are down year-over-year. The capacity of trucks and trailers are still out there but Ford does not want them. Those Ford executives making hundreds of thousands in compensation need firing.

I ordered from dealer 4/11. Got email on 4/28 production week of 6/20.

Can you share any more details on your build? 501A? Trailer tow? Color?

Trying hard to find logic why my similar build placed 3 weeks prior still isn't scheduled....trying hard not to get totally frustrated too.

This sounds plausible to me as well. Mine had been sitting at the Alliance railhead in Fort Worth for roughly ten days. Ford customer service said it is a delay with the trucking company. Expected delivery was 04/29 to 05/05. Now expected delivery 05/10 to 05/16.

Congratulations! I like the color matched door keypad. A little more than 4 months isn't so bad given the current state of things, I'm at exactly 4 months from order today and seeing trucks make it to customers on here always helps keep my hopes up. My 2018 Jeep factory order took 2 months, but different challenges these days.

Brother in law felt bad that Ford couldn’t ship my truck in a timely manner so he bought me one. Was pretty cool.
